Wonderful Town
A Musical Comedy
Book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov
Music by Leonard Bernstein
Lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green
Based on the play My Sister Eileen
by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov
and the stories by Ruth McKenney
It’s the summer of 1935. Meet Ruth and Eileen Sherwood of Columbus, Ohio,
two sisters who sing and dance their way into every kind of comic trouble as they seek their fortunes in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
Love conquers all, of course, and a happy ending is guaranteed.
With delightful music by Leonard Bernstein and a colorful collection of zany characters, Wonderful Town is sheer fun for the entire family!

Many actors play more than one character.
There is a lot of opportunity to shine at whatever you do well.
