A hilarious tale of six adolescent overachievers whom in the throes of puberty are vying to become the spelling bee champion of Putnam County. They are a quirky and charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time. They learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. Tony Award Winner! (Note: This production is not recommended for children.)
