Each Spring, the State College Community Theatre presents a $500.00 scholarship to a Centre County student in order to further his or her education or training in the theatre arts.

Eligibility Requirements:
1.  Each candidate must be a resident of Centre County, Pennsylvania or be pursuing an education in Centre County, Pennsylvania.

2.  Each candidate must be currently enrolled in—or be a high school senior accepted to and planning to enroll in—a college, university, or other institution for the purpose of furthering his or her education in any of the theatre arts.

3.  Each candidate must possess a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

4.  Each candidate must fill out the application form (to be posted here in early 2008) and submit it to the SCCT Board of Directors.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.  The deadline for receipt of applications and supporting materials is April 21, 2008.

Applications will be evaluated by a five member panel appointed by the President of the State College Community Theatre Board of Directors.  The final decision will be announced no later than May 15th.
